TSAHC provides down payment grants and homebuyer assistance programs that help individuals and families become successful homeowners.

For Buyers and Homeowners

TSAHC provides access to fixed-rate mortgage financing, down payment assistance grants and mortgage tax credits for teachers, fire fighters, peace officers, and low and moderate-income homebuyers. TSAHC also supports services proven to help families overcome financial hardship and stay in their homes.

Low interest rate loans & down payment assistance

TSAHC provides 30-year fixed rate mortgage loans to eligible homebuyers.  In addition to a low interest rate, our programs provide a grant for down payment and closing costs.

Mortgage Credit Certificates

TSAHC provides a tax credit to qualifying first-time homebuyers through the issuance of a Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC).  With an MCC, the homebuyer is eligible to take a portion of the interest paid on the mortgage as a special tax credit, up to $2,000, each year.
