Become an Approved Lender
TSAHC is pleased to invite mortgage lenders to participate in our Homeownership Programs.
TSAHC provides low interest rate loans with down payment and closing cost assistance in the form of a grant (meaning no second lien) to teachers, fire fighters, peace officers, veterans, and low and moderate-income homebuyers. The Homes for Texas Heroes and Home Sweet Texas Loan Programs allow qualifying individuals to purchase a home.
Additionally, we can provide those eligible borrowers who are also first-time home buyers the extra benefit of a Mortgage Credit Certificate. A MCC allows the homeowner to take an annual tax credit of up to $2,000 every year they live in the home, saving them thousands of dollars over the life of the loan.
Whether you’ve been a long-time partner or are considering participating in TSAHC’s programs for the first time, you’ll be pleased to know TSAHC has been making changes that provide an even better benefit to the borrower while making the process easier for our lenders.
If you are interested in becoming an approved lender, please complete the applicable Lender Application Package below. A Lender Application Package must be completed and approved prior to any lender providing one of our homeownership programs to their clients.
