TSAHC has received a $7,500 grant from the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation to support the Texas Statewide Homebuyer Education Program (TSHEP). Offered in partnership with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), TSHEP provides affordable, high quality training opportunities to Texas housing and financial counselors.
Specifically, this support from the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation will help fund a weeklong training workshop in Dallas in July 2017, to be hosted by Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. The grant will help TSAHC cover 90% of each counselor’s tuition costs as well as provide hotel scholarships for counselors traveling from out of town. This will ensure that the training is affordable for our nonprofit counseling partners. We are very grateful to the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation for their continued support!
