Now that 2026 is here, bringing with it all the hope and excitement of a new year, we thought we'd give 2025 a sweet send off by compiling six of our favorite blog posts from the past year.

Celebrating our 2024 Texas Supportive Housing Institute Graduates
Did we mention that we're excited to see what the new year brings? One of the reasons we're so excited is because we know that time will bring us closer to seeing hundreds of new permanent supportive housing units planned by the graduates of our 2024 Institute come to fruition. If you haven't read about these planned developments yet, we think it's definitely something worth highlighting.
New Resources to Help Guide Your Home Buying Journey
During National Homeownership Month this past year, we updated our 10 Steps to Buying a Home webinar and flyer for home buyers. Again, if you're starting your research on how to launch your journey into homeownership, this is a great place to start.
Podcast Episode 44: Celebrating 30 Years of TSAHC with President David Long
If you'll allow us to toot our own horn for a bit, we'll say that we're very excited about the fact that TSAHC celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025! In this podcast episode, we sat down with our president, David Long, who shared stories about major milestones, successes, and insights that TSAHC has had over the past three decades.
Podcast Episode 45: Recapping Texas’ 89th Legislative Session
Texas had its 89th regular legislative session in 2025 and legislators (as well as many hopeful Texans) had their sights set on policies that might promote housing affordability across Texas. In this podcast episode, we looked back at the policy progress that was made for affordable housing and how those policies might affect Texas' future.
Introducing a White Paper on the Benefits of Permanent Supportive Housing in Texas
A quick summary of TSAHC's recent long-form white paper, this blog post breaks down what permanent supportive housing is, the population that it serves, and how the creation of it benefits surrounding communities. It also details how TSAHC's Texas Supportive Housing Institutes have been supporting development teams as they strive to create permanent supportive housing for some of Texas' most vulnerable residents.
