TSAHC recently received a $10,000 grant from Dominium in support of the Texas Supportive Housing Institute, which provides nonprofit developers with the information, resources, and tools they need to create successful permanent supportive housing (PSH) projects in their communities.
As a nationwide model, PSH is considered the most effective housing intervention for serving individuals living with a serious persistent mental illness, and persons experiencing chronic homelessness or at-risk of homelessness. The service-enriched affordable housing provided by PSH communities helps the most vulnerable individuals and families lead more stable lives.
