The grant will support a week-long training for nonprofit housing counselors in Houston this October. The training will focus specifically on post-purchase education methods, focusing on topics and best practices to help both new home buyers and existing homeowners manage their most important asset.
This support from the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation is helping TSAHC subsidize 90% of each counselor's tuition costs and offer scholarships to help out-of-town counselors with hotel expenses.
