This grant will support the Texas Statewide Homebuyer Education Program (TSHEP), which provides affordable professional development opportunities to Texas housing and financial education providers. TSAHC will utilize this generous contribution specifically to support the upcoming Financial Coaching Advanced Practicum- Taking your Practice to the Next Level in June 2015, which will be offered in partnership with RAISE Texas and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas- San Antonio Branch .
With support from Frost Bank, TSAHC will be able to cover 90% of each counselor’s tuition costs, ensuring that the training is affordable for our nonprofit counseling partners. For more information about the TSHEP program, click here.
TSAHC was created in 1994 as a self-sustaining nonprofit housing organization. At TSAHC we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. Our programs target the housing needs of low-income families and other underserved populations in Texas who do not have acceptable housing options through conventional financial channels. All TSAHC programs are offered statewide, with special attention given to rural areas and other select target areas.
