JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) recently awarded TSAHC with a $30,000 grant in support of the Texas Supportive Housing Institute, a TSAHC initiative that provides nonprofit developers with information, resources, and tools to create successful permanent supportive housing (PSH) projects in their communities.
PSH is a national model consisting of housing + supportive services that has been proven to help vulnerable individuals and families improve their health outcomes and financial stability. PSH is considered the most effective housing intervention for serving individuals living with a serious persistent mental illness, and persons experiencing chronic homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
JPMC's generous investment will support the 2022 Institute taking place this fall, as well as the efforts made by participating development teams to establish their PSH projects.
TSAHC is thankful for JPMC's continued partnership and support of our programs!
