TSAHC is pleased to announce Wells Fargo as the VISIONARY TITLE SPONSOR for the 2024 Texas Supportive Housing Institute, a TSAHC training initiative provided in partnership with the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) that provides nonprofit development teams with information, resources, and tools to create successful permanent supportive housing (PSH) projects in their communities.
PSH is a national model consisting of housing + supportive services that has been proven to help vulnerable individuals and families improve their health outcomes and financial stability. PSH is considered the most effective housing intervention for serving individuals living with a serious persistent mental illness, and persons experiencing chronic homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
Participating development teams for the 2024 Institute were recently selected through an application process that took place this summer. To learn more about each team and the projects they plan to build in their communities, click here.
Wells Fargo’s generous $100,000 investment in the Institute will give TSAHC the ability to provide follow-up grants to all teams that can be used to support up-front and predevelopment costs as they establish their PSH projects. It will also support the training costs of four of the six participating development teams and will help to fund a post-Institute, in-depth analysis of the program and its effectiveness.
