We also discuss how mortgage insurance can work alongside down payment assistance and Mortgage Credit Certificate programs to help make homeownership more affordable.

Meet Our Guest – Angela Bujnoch

Angela joined the mortgage industry in 2003 when she left being a middle school counselor to join RMIC Mortgage Insurance Company. After 10 years with RMIC, Angela was fortunate to be able to join ESSENT Mortgage Insurance Company who she has been with now for 13 years. In her 23 years in the industry, Angela has covered the Central Texas, San Antonio, South Texas, El Paso, and New Mexico Territories. Angela loves the mortgage industry and especially enjoys the many relationships she has been able to form. Involvement in our industry organizations is very important to Angela. She is currently serving on the Executive Committee on the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association Board and has served on various committees for the TMBA. She is a Past President of the Austin MBA and the Tx Mortgage Bankers San Antonio and is currently serving on both boards as a director. Angela also serves on the Texas Credit Union Real Estate Network Board of Directors.

Angela completed her CML Certification on the winning team in 2024 and was the proud recipient of a scholarship from the Judy Belanger Helping Others Fund.
