Become a TSAHC CE Course Trainer

First you will need to contact Texas REALTORS® at education@texasrealtors.com and cc: glang@texasrealtors.com and kgillaspy@tsahc.org. Please be sure to mention that you would like to get approval to ONLY teach TSAHC’s “Overcoming the Down Payment Hurdle” course. This should allow for the $75 instructor approval fee to be waived.

1. Texas REALTORS® will provide you access to the instructor training.
2. Once you complete the instructor training, you will fill out the instructor application for Texas REALTORS® and turn it in.
3. Once approved, send kgillaspy@tsahc.org your executed TSAHC Agreement and we will help get you started!

Prior to Teaching:

1. Please ensure you have an EdConnect Account.
2. Add your class in EdConnect  so it will be there upon completion for processing.

Pre-Class Checklist:

1. Schedule a class by emailing homeownership@tsahc.org the class details including event time, date, location, and sponsors. If at least 30 days in advance, TSAHC will advertise your class for you. Many times, 75% of the audience comes from our advertising efforts.
   1. Agenda example for 11:30-1:00pm class:
      1. 11:00am – Arrive to set-up classroom
      2. 11:30am – Self/Sponsor Introductions
      3. 12:00pm – Class Starts
      4. 12:50pm – Class Ends – Q&A
      5. 1:00pm – Dismissal
2. Email homeownership@tsahc.org to get a copy of the latest slide deck.

4. Download Class Forms:
   1. Sign-In Sheet (for in-person classes only)

Post-Class Checklist:

1. You must process the class in EdConnect within 5 days so that the REALTORS® get credit for the class. Click here to view EdConnect Instructions.
