On September 23rd, representatives from the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC), DMA Companies, Accolade Property Management, City of Plano elected officials, and other community members officially opened The Park on 14th, a new affordable apartment community in Plano designed to meet the housing needs of Plano’s workforce population.
The Park on 14th features 62 apartments, with the majority reserved for households earning up to 80% of the area median income. The thoughtful design promotes energy efficiency, including HVAC and mechanical systems, allowing tenants to save energy and lower utility bills.
Amenities at the Park on 14th include a community room, media room, business center, equipped fitness center and outdoor recreational space. Located in the highly walkable neighborhood of Kendrick, the community is within walking distance of Plano’s downtown DART station and adjacent to the city’s historic downtown commercial district.
Two of our priorities are creating affordable, quality housing in high opportunity areas and aligning our efforts with those of strong partners like DMA Companies. I’m proud to say the Park on 14th accomplishes both.

TSAHC owns the land the Park on 14th resides on and partnered with DMA Companies to develop the community. The development costs were approximately $17,200,000 with the bulk of financing provided by a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development loan and equity from TSAHC.
