Grant Awarded to Austin Habitat for Humanity

On Tuesday, February 25th, the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) presented a $30,000 check to Austin Habitat for Humanity for their Home Repair Program.

Accepting the check on behalf of Austin Habitat for Humanity was Kimberly Griffin, Austin Habitat for Humanity Grants Manager.  The award was presented by Steve Carriker, member of the TSAHC Advisory Council,  Liz Bayless, TSAHC Executive Vice President and KiYa Moghaddam, Director of Community & Media Relations for State Rep. Dawnna Dukes.

The grant was awarded as part of the 2013 cycle of TSAHC's Texas Foundations Fund program and will allow Austin Habitat for Humanity to provide critical home repairs to very low-income homeowners whose homes have structural, safety and accessibility issues.
