TSAHC recently received a $250,000 program related investment from the Austin Community Foundation (ACF) in support of the Texas Housing Impact Fund. With this investment, TSAHC will expand efforts to finance more affordable housing projects in the Central Texas area.
Climbing rental prices and income instability have caused a rental affordability crisis in Central Texas. Rental costs are increasing faster than wages, making affordable units even harder to obtain. Because of this, the demand for TSAHC's affordable development loan products has grown. ACF's recent investment will allow TSAHC to respond to the increased demand by financing additional rental units for low-income households.
