Certification

What type of certification does TSHEP provide?

TSAHC partners with NeighborWorks America, which offers six certifications for homeownership practitioners, and each meets the requirements of the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling. NeighborWorks certification is maintained by obtaining continuing education credits in the amount of 10 credits every year or 30 credits every 3 years. By taking a 5-day course, you will receive 30 credits of continuing education to renew your certification. A 3-day course is worth 18 credits and a 2-day course is worth 12 credits.

For more information about the different certifications provided by NeighborWorks, including the requirements to obtain or maintain a certification and the application form for each, click here.
