Meet Our Guest—Jed Guenther

Jed Guenther is Senior Vice President of the Community Lending Team at Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC. He joined the firm in July 2019 in a new leadership role created to spearhead Lakeview’s business development and relationship management efforts with our HFA clients and prospects. Since joining Lakeview, Jed and the Community Lending Team have more than doubled the number of HFA client relationships from five to twelve and HFA originations in 2023 exceeded $7.7 billion YTD. Prior to joining Lakeview, Jed was Managing Director at Wells Fargo Securities, leading a nationwide, 26-person, $160 million sales organization focused on foreign exchange hedging transactions for corporate clients.

Meet Our Guest—John Hudson

John Hudson is CEO and CO-Owner of H&M Mortgage Group, a full-service brokerage lending firm based in San Antonio, Texas. His mission is twofold: expanding homeownership opportunities for numerous families and building a top-tier support network for licensed mortgage professionals.

John is known as a “Mortgage Geek,” has been actively involved in various roles within the Mortgage Bankers Association and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and has had the honor of sharing his industry insights with Congress.

Meet Our Guest—Christy Gessler

Christy Gessler started in the real estate profession in 2005. Since then, she has been named The REALTOR of the Year for Williamson County Texas in 2012 as well as owned both a franchise brokerage and an independent brokerage during her two decades of service.

Christy has served and continues to serve in many positions within the Realtor organization and has done so her entire career. She is currently the Chairman of the Board of Texas REALTORS, the largest trade organization in the state, representing over 145,000 members. She is passionate about advocating for sound law and policy that allows for the highest enjoyment of owning property and running a small business in Texas.
