Baytown Area & Chambers County Disaster Recovery Partnership was awarded a $32,200 programmatic grant to support 6 months of salary for the disaster recovery coordinator responsible for providing case management for clients affected by the hurricane and leading the volunteer coordinator effort.

Career and Recovery Resources was awarded a $30,000 critical home repair grant and a $20,000 programmatic grant to provide home repairs for 3-6 households and support staff salaries for case management and direct financial assistance to households in Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery Counties.

CDC of Freedmen’s Town was awarded a $30,000 programmatic grant to repair rental homes owned by CDC of Freedmen’s Town that were damaged by Hurricane Harvey.

Coastal Bend Disaster Recovery Group was awarded two programmatic grants totaling $85,000 to support a staff position to manage volunteers and donations to support disaster recovery efforts in Nueces, San Patricio, Refugio, Aransas, Bee and Kleberg Counties.

Daya Inc. was awarded a $50,000 programmatic grant to provide rental and financial assistance and case management to immigrant survivors of domestic violence who were affected by Hurricane Harvey in Harris, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston and Fort Bend Counties.

Disability Rights Texas was awarded a $50,000 programmatic grant to provide legal and advocacy services to individuals with disabilities that were affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Easter Seals Greater Houston was awarded a $50,000 programmatic grant to support the salary of a financial coach serving households affected by Hurricane Harvey, focusing specifically on veterans and people with disabilities.

East Harris County Empowerment Council was awarded a $32,800 programmatic grant to hire a Recovery Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating recovery efforts, working with partners and referring clients as necessary.

Fifth Ward CRC was awarded a $100,000 critical home repair grant to provide repairs on up to 6 homes in Houston.

Fort Bend Habitat for Humanity was awarded two critical home repair grants totaling $150,000 to repair twenty hurricane-damaged homes in Fort Bend County.

Jefferson County Long Term Recovery was awarded a $30,000 programming grant to provide staffing support to help the organization coordinate case management and referrals for households affected by Hurricane Harvey. They were also awarded a $100,000 critical home repair grant to be used for repairs to homes located in Jefferson County.

Legacy Community Development Corporation was awarded a $150,000 critical home repair grant to repair 15 homes in Jefferson County.

Living Paradigm CDC was awarded a $20,000 programming grant to provide staffing support for the organization’s case management and home repair services.

Meals on Wheels of Central Texas was awarded two critical home repair grants totaling $150,000 to repair 12 hurricane-damaged homes in Bastrop, Lee and Fayette Counties.

Mid-Coast Family Services was awarded a $30,000 programmatic grant to provide emergency rental and utility assistance to households affected by Hurricane Harvey in Victoria, Refugio, Lavaca, Jackson, Gonzales, Goliad, Dewitt and Calhoun Counties.

National Church Residences Foundation was awarded a $50,000 programmatic grant to employ a full-time service coordinator to connect low-income seniors in Nueces, Aransas and San Patricio Counties with housing and financial resources to help them recover from the effects of Hurricane Harvey.

Navicore Solutions was awarded a $25,000 programmatic grant to provide housing counseling (primarily foreclosure prevention counseling) to households affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Northwest Assistance Ministries was awarded a $40,000 programmatic grant to hire an additional disaster relief case manager to assist with implementing home repairs, providing referrals to trusted contractors and connecting families to additional needed services.

Nutrition and Services for Seniors was awarded two critical home repair grants totaling $110,500 to support critical home repairs for seniors in Jefferson and Hardin Counties. They were also awarded a $29,500 programmatic grant to support the salary of the Programs Manager who works directy with the contractors providing the repairs.

Sewa International was awarded a $50,000 critical home repair grant to repair hurricane-damaged homes in the Little Cambodia community in Brazoria County.

Shalom Builders of Texas was awarded a $50,000 critical home repair grant to support critical home repairs in Newton, Jefferson, Hardin, Orange and Jasper Counties.

Somebody Cares America/Jasper-Newton Long Term Recovery Group was awarded two critical home repair grants totaling $50,000 and two programmatic grants totaling $100,000. The funding will be used to support the salary of the construction manager, along with the costs associated with rebuilding 28 to 33 homes in Jasper and Newton Counties.

Tejano Center for Community Concerns was awarded a $35,000 programmatic grant to support a program oversight position to expand the capacity of the organization’s home repair program in Harris County.

Texas District of the Lutheran Church was awarded a $40,000 critical home repair grant to replace windows in 20 hurricane-damaged homes in Nueces County.

Victoria County Long Term Recovery Group was awarded two critical home repair grants totaling $30,000 to provide minor repairs to homes in Victoria County. They were also awarded two programmatic grants totaling $80,000 to provide minor case management to 24 households and temporary housing assistance.
