June is National Homeownership Month, and TSAHC is taking this opportunity to celebrate three households who used our programs to purchase their first home.
With help from our friends at 1708 Media, we sat down with them to learn about their home buying journey, what being a homeowner means to them, and how TSAHC's assistance helped turn their home buying dreams into reality.
Brittney wanted to be a homeowner for the longest time. Growing up, her family never owned their home, and this was a milestone not only for her, but for her whole family. With assistance from TSAHC, she overcame the down payment hurdle that so many buyers face and purchased her own home.
LaDetra and Tre wanted more stability for their young daughter. With assistance from TSAHC, they were able to expand their budget and purchase the home they knew was right for them. It's a different (and wonderful!) feeling coming home to a place they know is theirs, and they celebrate every minute of it.
Becca and Tim tried and tried to save for a home, but life kept getting in the way. However, with assistance from TSAHC, they were able to buy a home sooner than they expected. The home is perfect for their life together as a young couple.
