Home Buyer Education

Whether you're thinking of buying your first home or considering becoming a homeowner again, home buyer education is an invaluable tool that can help you be a successful homeowner. Studies find that homeowners who go through home buyer education are less likely to default on their mortgage, too. Plus, it’s required in order to use TSAHC’s home buyers.

Home buyers using our Down Payment Assistance and/or Mortgage Credit Certificate programs may use ONLY one of the online providers listed below or a provider listed on the Texas Financial Toolbox to meet their home buyer education requirement.

These trusted providers are generally non-profit organizations or government entities who are either HUD-approved or certified to provide home buyer education.
