Located in Central Austin, the Roosevelt Gardens Apartments is a multifamily property owned by Project Transitions that serves residents living with HIV/AIDS. In 2020, TSAHC provided Project Transitions with a $150,000 loan under the Texas Housing Impact Fund to cover a portion of the costs associated with completely rebuilding the property. TSAHC was able to provide this funding thanks to investments provided by Texas Capital Bank and Austin Community Foundation.
Construction on Roosevelt Gardens was recently completed and on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Project Transitions invited TSAHC staff along with representatives from Texas Capital Bank and the Austin Community Foundation to tour the new property and improvements.
We would like to thank Project Transitions for welcoming our staff and funders and giving us a tour of the beautiful new property. We would also like to thank Texas Capital Bank and Austin Housing Foundation for their generosity and support of this project!
The Roosevelt Gardens Apartments are scheduled to open this fall.
