Our mission for the past 20 years has been to serve the housing needs of low-income families and other underserved populations in Texas.
Simply put, TSAHC’s programs and services focus on helping local developers build more affordable housing, helping low and moderate-income families buy a home, and helping homeowners obtain the financial education and services they need to stay in their homes.
We help you achieve your community investment goals.
Whether you’re a financial institution looking for a CRA-qualified investment or an individual investor looking to make a social impact, TSAHC can help you reach your goal. And even though our programs are statewide, we can dedicate your investment to serve a specific community.
Your contribution is tax-deductible.
TSAHC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means your investment is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by the IRS. We’ll make sure you have the documentation you need to receive your tax benefits.
We’ll keep you in the loop.
We want you to know how we’re using your investment. We’ll send you periodic progress reports to show you how your investment is directly helping us sustain and expand our housing programs.
For donors who are comfortable with TSAHC promoting their investment, we will work with you to determine what level of publicity is appropriate. And we will work with corporate investors who are interested in providing their employees with volunteer opportunities as part of their investment in our programs.

TSAHC was created in 1994 as a self-sustaining nonprofit housing organization. At TSAHC we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. Our programs target the housing needs of low-income families and other underserved populations in Texas who do not have acceptable housing options through conventional financial channels. All TSAHC programs are offered statewide, with special attention given to rural areas and other select target areas.
