On Tuesday, February 18th, the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) presented a $15,000 check to Saint Louise House, a supportive housing program that serves 34 very low-income homeless women with children. Accepting the check on behalf of Saint Louise House was Jack Gullahorn, Saint Louise House Board Member. The award was presented by State Representative Elliott Naishtat and Edwina Carrington, Chair of the TSAHC Advisory Council.
The grant was awarded as part of the 2013 cycle of TSAHC's Texas Foundations Fund program and will enable Saint Louise House to continue to provide case management and other supportive services that give families the support they need to overcome financial hardship and become self-sufficient.
