The grant will support a week-long training opportunity for Texas housing counselors in early 2017. The training will be offered as part of the Texas Statewide Homebuyer Education Program, which provides affordable, high quality professional development opportunities to counselors providing home buyer and financial education to Texas families and communities.
By investing in the education of housing counselors here in Texas, Bank of America is helping to ensure that Texas families and individuals can access the high quality home buyer and financial education they need to become successful and responsible homeowners. Thanks to Bank of America's support, TSAHC will be able to subsidize 90% of each counselor's tuition costs, ensuring the training is affordable for our nonprofit counseling partners.
